The much-loved Handu Advent Calendar is back!
And as always, it’s here while it lasts! People keep asking about this one all the way up to Christmas, so if you want one, it’s definitely worth reserving your calendar early.
The Handu Christmas Box contains four surprise packages, one for each Advent. Each package contains a full 100 g skein of yarn, tucked away inside the Christmas packaging.
Expect luxurious fibres and plenty of other lovely surprises. The packages will contain a selection of luxurious fingering-weight sock yarns — although they’re, of course, just as perfect for any other kind of knitting. Every skein is hand-dyed by Ilu.
This year’s colourways are designed to work beautifully together, with mostly semisolids and calm, harmonious multicolours. Nothing too wild — just lovely colours that are easy to mix, match and knit with.
A little extra tip: if you’re getting both of the 2026 Advent Calendars, the colours are designed to complement each other. The Mini Calendar skeins make perfect contrasting heels, cuffs and other little details alongside the yarns from the main Advent Calendar. The Mini Calendar uses the same yarn bases as this main Advent Calendar.
The packages can be opened on December 6, 13, 20 and 24.
And there’s a little extra waiting in the Christmas Eve package: a small handmade knitting-related Christmas treat.
The complete calendar will arrive by the end of November. Shipping within Finland is included in the price.
